Not surprised, but damn, 2026 is Monfils’ last year. 😢

Yes, that was an earthquake that shook me out of a dead sleep

Lots of contributions big and small led to Team World’s win, but the team was really anchored by Fritz and DeMinaur.

McEnroe is going to be sooo mad Andre won the Laver Cup in his first tenure as Team Captain.

Pour yourself a martini, Alexander DeMinaur. You deserve it.

At the Laver Cup, the World vibe is pretty chill. Fritz has been amazing so far. I feel like he and Andre have really connected.

Does Team World want to win? Put Fritz against Rune for the win. No one will beat Carlos. Sorry if it bruises some egos but Laver Cup is a team event.

Oddly, San Francisco is the worst city for Ubers. Never had so many drivers get lost or cancel right before their arrival.

This Bears game is incredible. Huge changes in coaching and personnel and the *exact* same performance.

Watching this game, you’d almost think that JJ McCarthy was the top draft pick

So glad our dear leader is creating chaos at the US Open! Way to respect tennis!

I don’t remember the US Open doing a big flag ceremony with the Marines and America the Beautiful. It’s not football; tennis was blessedly devoid of such jingoism

An American woman in a slam final for the past 5 slams!!!

The commentary in this Osaka-Anisimova match by Evert and McEnroe (P) is pretty useless

Once again, the women deliver. Thoroughly enjoying these semifinals.

Watching Sinner’s matches is like watching paint dry. A story with no plot, struggle or tension. I never felt this bored watching the Big Three even when they were in control of the match. Sorry to Sinner fans.

Djokovic keeps luring Fritz into these “friendly” rallies knowing that eventually Fritz will overshoot the ball.

Watching Venus and Leylah play doubles is the little gift I didn’t expect the US Open to give us

This Tommy Paul/Bublick match is living up to my high expectations. Digging in for the long haul.

I note that despite moving up Ashe matches a half hour, last night’s Paul-Borges matches ended at 2 am. What was the point of moving up Ashe? To satisfy the early birds who leave by 8 pm anyway?

Count me a fan of the US open mixed doubles rejiggering!

Friendly reminder that Julian Cash & Lloyd Glasspool are riding a 21-match win streak and haven't lost a doubles match since June 15 in s'-Hertogenbosch.

They're 3 wins away from winning their 5th title in a row at Cincy and tying the Bryans' 24-match streak from 2014.

Okay, jumping on the Atmane bandwagon #cincinnati

Osaka is so damn unlikable. I just don’t get her and her sense of entitlement. I can’t believe people felt sorry for her.

This Gauff-Collins match is really hitting the tennis spot!
