Not attending APAC this year is a mental and physical health decision, and I worry that I'm sacrificing my career to the brain weasels.
But in the current environment with COVID/flu/RSV/norovirus spiking and questionable oversight of air travel, the weasels make a very compelling argument.

My tarot cards yelled at me yesterday. Like, a five card spread reprimand from the deck that is usually gentle. And while I did not expect that on a Monday, I probably needed it. So here I am, getting in some writing before I buckle down for the day and kick my outreach engine into gear.

When I walked out of my mammogram, I wished the receptionist an uneventful weekend. She looked surprised and chuckled.

*sigh* Gonna find my peace at the bottom of a coffee and some homemade blueberry muffins tomorrow. And then, I'll have the energy to stay mad a little longer.

Oh, and decorating the house 'cause Imma get my joys and jingles as long as possible.

I've figured out the blanket code for my upcoming #crochet project! At least, part of it, because I never know what's going to get booked until the audition shows up.
