This New Year and Christmas many houses will play “Carol of the Bells”, a famous Ukrainian composition, not knowing of a beatiful origin of the music from land of Ukraine.

The song was popularized abroad by Ukrainian Republican Capella, organized by Ukrainian People’s Republic in 1919.

In addition to writing quite a few pieces for LC and edited several, there are a couple pieces I was involved with by recruiting the author because I felt they had something interesting to say and LC was a good platform for them - a few examples of the voices we try to highlight follow

Reading right now Liberal Socialism by @mattpolprof.bsky.social , the book which surprisingly become for me an openning to Thomas Paine, consider supporting his writing and his careful research into the insights of liberal socialist tradition.

I do a lot of writing/travelling/presenting to try and agitate for progressive causes wherever possible. If anything I've written or said inspired or provoked you, consider donating a little bit to a fundraiser I've started to support my work.
