Manufacturing costs are 6k€ higher but price is 14k€ higher

The 30 pages analysis about hydrogen in German Energy transition monitoring report is mostly indefinite and exploratory in nature, but some gems can be found.

Seems that German government officials also acknowledge the difference between h2- capex visions and the reality. That's A+ for homework!

Have we reached the plateau of wind power generation cost decline in major European wind power markets?

According to @irena-official.bsky.social the cost of wind LCOE came rapidly down until 2019 after which the average cost has not declined but increased 17% (2020-2024).

By now there are more than 8000+ public plugs in Amsterdam!

German BEV market share seems to finally recover from last year dull but is only reaching 2022 level YTD.

Nevertheless, the market without 3000-5000 euro subsidies is completely different to the one before. Solid and steady progress.

China's clean power growth is stunning, but in relation to the size of the power market, China is not such a singular success story. 15 countries achieved a larger increase in clean power generation in the past five years than China, when measured as a share of their total power generation in 2019.

"UPDATE to the battery electric vehicle market share in Europe. Two things:

1⃣ PHEV market share has risen from around 8 to 9,7% which is a a gain but remains to be seen how persistent.

2⃣ BEV market share remained stable 2025/ Q1-Q2 contrary to previous beginning of the years"

Nyt kun 2024 tiedot on julkaistu: lasku jatkui.

Nostetaan sellainen pikantti yksityiskohta, että toimialakohtaisissa päästöissä terästeollisuus on nyt ensimmäistä kertaa suurin (4,3 Mt), polttolaitokset on 4,1 Mt (2023: 5,1 Mt).

Polttolaitokset 2013-2024: -77 %!

Uusintakuvaaja maanantaille. Päästökauppasektorilaitosten päästöissä on syytä huomata kohta "Muut laitokset".

Tähän kategoriaan kuuluu KAIKKI sähkön- ja lämmöntuotantonlaitokset Suomessa.

Näiden laitosten päästöt ovat vähentyneet 70% kymmenessä vuodessa! Hattuapäästä, niille jotka sen ansaitsee.

Ei tarvitse välttämättä ihmetellä, miksi sähkösiirtymä etenee vaiheittain eri aikaisesti eri puolilla Eurooppaa, kun sähkön hinta on Saksassa ja tammikuussa 40,4 senttiä/kWh.

Suomessa 6,6 s/kWh.
