@ubereats.bsky.social Order placed last night, driver called saying wouldn’t deliver as too far away (9 min drive). I was then repeatedly refused any refund. Eventually you refunded food, but not service charge/gratuity (there WAS no service) and you have now closed the case 😤

Maybe because middle class women of a certain age are in a position to call out this shit without fear of losing a salary they need. And can do it on behalf of young women starting out in their careers who are just as sick of this shit but can’t say anything because they need to earn a living.

There have been more reports of the increase in patients opting for private care in the UK recently.

We found that since the pandemic there has been a 30% increase in the number of people paying out of their own pocket for hospital care across the UK. 📈
