thanks so much! i used blockbench/blender quite a bit with the texture variants mapped to the sides of cubes in random layouts so i could pinpoint and fix any tiling issues, but i remember it was an awful lot of trial and error!

not strange at all! I use, and thoroughly recommend aseprite for all things pixelly! (though hopefully not for making such monstrosities as the ball on the right xd)
