It would be super cool if @fitzyva.bsky.social got a future role in #knightsofguinevere actually. I don't know what the existing plans for the plot are, but if there's some sort of evil Guinevere or other robot antagonist, it would be the absolute best to hear her evil robot voice again!

I've been enjoying the hell out of this Frostpunk board game. Decided to get the expansion even though I can't even beat the base game yet. We'll see how it goes!

Developmental editing my book, Bondage of Magics, right now. Progress is so satisfying. More than ever, this part of the process is when you watch the story take its final shape. Especially early on, when you do a lot of re-aligning for why characters are where they are and do what they do.

Best writing advice I got from a friend was to write people completely different from me. When making a character, instead of starting with straight white men, I start with gay black women, and my inherent biases shift all the characters in my direction, resulting in a scatter plot of a cast.

Went out collecting signatures for a referendum petition on the atrocious HB267 law that passed in Utah recently. They're trying to bust our unions, and they'll come for yours too if you let 'em.

I've had the same experience! I think they're a must-have resource for #booksky #indieauthors. Just commissioned them to do box set art too!
If you need a good cover on a budget, I can't recommend GetCovers enough. They are a sister company to MiblArt where they train up junior designers. Based out of Ukraine, they offer ebook covers and print covers for less than $50 in most cases. I've worked with them several times!

Just finished I Shall Wear Midnight by #TerryPratchett. Very good book. My favorite in the Tiffany Aching series so far. Just need to finish Shepherd's Crown before the year is over to hit my goal!
