part of the reason i backed off from social media was because of how polarizing folks have become about virtually every topic. everyone is insistent on reading everybody else in bad faith. it's equal parts infuriating and exhausting to read on a daily basis.

i asked my wife to pick me up some gatorade, so they came home from the gas station and kept pulling out bottles from their bag and thrusting them in my hand so now i have six gatorades

it's been three days since the hysterectomy and BOY HOWDY AM I BORED AS HELL

bored and mildly uncomfortable

turns out i freaked out for no reason (surprise!); i'll be having my blood drawn at the hospital tomorrow before the procedure.

now if only i could relax, but i can't because I'M HAVING SURGERY IN LESS THAN 24 HOURS AAAAAAH

i have surgery scheduled for friday. i have no pre-op documentation, nor have i been sent for bloodwork (that i need to have done for surgery). i left a voicemail for the surgeon's nurse yesterday morning and haven't heard back.
