To my #medievalsky folks, I am looking to read more of the true classics of medieval history and have, so far, picked up books by Braudel, Bloch, Duby, Huizinga, Le Goff, and Davis. I would love to get recommendations for others along these lines: great historians, influential books. Thanks!

Progress on our school garden. My wife is the principal, so I am the UC Master Gardener assigned to provide support, lessons and engagement. First, a "design challenge": what do you want to grow? Each year will add features, but we start with four beds and the kids' imagination!
