I fear that harm reduction as a sociopolitical ethos is cooked if we can’t sort out intersectionality.
For years I’ve added comments like “it’s awesome but it’s very white, which we need to collectively sort out” to my explanations. I should’ve pushed harder and yelled louder the moment I saw it.

Amen! I'll add: 10% of IMLS' budget goes to the talking book library for the Blind and physically disabled. Most of their patrons are poor seniors who are often isolated due to disability and age.
