I promise to post about massage and physical therapy again, after these fires go out (soon, I hope?) regularly scheduled programming will be resumed. Until that day, here is Prof. Dave covering all of the absolute shenanigans RFK Jr. is up to.

Ever ponder why RFK Jr. wants to ignore infectious diseases for non-infectious/chronic ones instead? Or why he seems to hate scientist Paul Offit & the lifesaving rotavirus vax he co-invented?

Malcolm Gladwell offers a nice explanation from reading RFK Jr.'s 400+ pg anti-Fauci book.

You would expect before getting your back popped by a Chiro, they should examine you and have a specific target in mind to "adjust" Right?

Turns out, it probably doesn't matter at all. General, random adjustments work better, or at least equally.

Post concussion symptoms can drag on long after the expected recovery of a concussion by months or even years. Looking at functional neurological disorders as an explanation seems reasonable and grounds to get additional rehabilitation when needed. Fascinating!
fascinating. FND as an explanation for persistent post concussion symptoms... unclear what role if any cell damage, immune dysregulation, neuroinflammation, mito dysfunction, impaired energy metabolism, neurotransmitter changes, BBB disturbance etc play bjsm.bmj.com/content/earl...

Teach Self-Efficacy! Patients believe their body is a stack of spinal segments balanced on bony levers; pain is when something goes "out" and relief is the Therapeutic-Dependence Salesman down the street.
That is, until the day someone shows them relief without grift.
