🚨A U.S. born citizen was arrested in Florida for entering the state as an “unauthorized alien.” His mother and a community advocate showed his birth certificate during a hearing in Leon County. The judge said she had no authority to release him.

The Trump administration is now allowed to proceed with the federal employee buyout program after a federal judge denied a request to halt the program entirely. Judge George A. O’Toole Jr., a U.S. District Court judge in the District of Massachusetts, did not rule on the program’s legality.

Email about mewe says Hello I am contacting you in regards of something important. As you and others know, many are trying to leave all meta apps and others like it. For the most part it seems it was easy to move from X(Twitter) to Bluesky and from Instagram to Lemon8 or Pixelfed. Most onto Bluesky and more so with the alternative it’s for Instagram soon. One I am seeing a struggle is Facebook. I found one that’s not talked about too much but would work. It’s called MeWe. It was recently decentralized in 2022. It allows groups, calls, business pages, photos, make events, and videos like Facebook. Unfortunately many of the groups are pretty dead with the slow growth to the app in 2019 & 2021. To combat this I and others are networking a main group that connects everyone. Mewe Nationwide Community is a group where it will have resources for each state, from there people can find their state and join that group that has more resources. I have more information on my Tik Tok @Chicanabrujaedu & we are working on a site that has more resources & links.
