Amak Mahmoodian, Senior lecturer in Photography at the University, is one of four artists to be shortlisted for the Deutsche Börse Photography Foundation Prize 2026.

A documentary by a graduate from the university airs on national television on CBBC.

The ‘My Life’ documentary follows the journey of Hannah’s 15-year-old niece Jazzy Tyson. The film follows Jazz as she trains to represent Team England at the IMMAFs, the biggest MMA competition in the world.
