Today my partner and I cancelled our GDC plans.
It wasn’t an easy decision to make, but between reduced air safety, increased border control detainments, and escalating tensions between the US and Canada, travelling to the US for a games conference (especially from Canada) doesn't seem worth it.

For Final Fantasy 7: Rebirth on PC I've managed to find a way to dimmish the nightmarish stuttering and issues, replaced the directstorage dll files with the latest versions, texture streaming has gotten better, the softlock ain't happening to me no more too. There's still hitches, but now playable!
