The White House keeps unilaterally taking entirely voluntary actions which it openly says are intended to inflict more pain and then they're I guess surprised - along with most of the DC media - about why they seem to be taking the blame for the shutdown.

Look, justice can be found in a lot of places besides courtrooms, just sayin'
From the independent reporter Jacqueline Sweet (Disaster Girl):

"An FBI informant convicted of lying to the Bureau about a fake bribery scheme involving the Bidens has been quietly released from prison just months into a six-year sentence—raising concern he could be pardoned by Donald Trump any […]

The New York Times quickly sending out Douthat to argue that Mamdani’s victory doesn’t really matter is so predictable it borders on self-parody.

Remember, folks: Every time the Right wins an election, it’s an undeniable expression of the will of the people. If a lefty wins, it’s just a blip.

The studio press reps are stupid for not tracking Bluesky. I post after a movie all the time and the engagement here is at least three times what it was on Twitter.
I am BEGGING the studios to pivot to Bluesky so entertainment journalists and critics can stop using Twitter as part of our jobs. My Predator: Badlands reaction post is bringing out nothing but misogynistic nazis.

If there was a secret society of Afrikaners in Miami it certainly was a secret to me, and I've lived in this state for decades.
Trump: "For generations Miami has been a haven for those fleeing communist tyranny in South Africa. I mean, if you take a look at what's going on in parts of South Africa. Look at South Africa, what's going on. Look at South America, what's going on. You know, we have a G20 meeting in South Africa."

The thing about the Bucks County flip is, at the start of the day, we were a purple county where we'd go blue on statewide candidates or president, but we usually keep it red locally -- and at the end of the day yesterday, it's pretty much all blue, snout to tail. Which is amazing.
