This is my very real proposal. Every time a cop breaks the law/violates someone's civil rights/abuses their authority, defund that particular cop.
Fire that cop. Permanently remove their job from the police budget. Destroy their equipment and melt down their guns.

You don't have to get arrested. You don't even have go to a protest. But there are HUNDREDS of groups pushing back in all kinds of ways on all of the horrors.
Find your group and push back with them.

It's crazy to me how hard the smear campaign against Zohran is. Somehow he is both a pissant upstart that's too big for his britches and an existential threat that must be stopped at all costs at the same time.
