Last week EU finance ministers dodged a catastrophe - but still chose climate cowardice.

Denmark proposed to the EU Governments that a tax on jet fuel would be off the table until 2035. Thankfully it didn't pass.

Green flying is lying.

Governments and the aviation industry are selling us a fairytale of green growth, but the sector plans to triple in size by 2050, doubling its fuel use and emissions.

We’re debunking aviation’s greenwashing 👇

For years, there's been a massive over-emphasis on food miles, and a massive under-emphasis on food type.
By far and away the best dietary decision you can make, for environmental, humanitarian and public health purposes, is to cut out animal products.

Despite being among the most carbon-intensive modes of transport, aviation and shipping continue to enjoy generous VAT exemptions across Europe.

This is costing governments billions in lost revenue and putting cleaner forms of passenger transport at a competitive disadvantage.

There is absolutely a path to 100% renewable energy – the technology already exists, and is getting better (and cheaper!) every year

What's missing is the political will from governments and the EU to fully plan an end to fossil fuels, insulate and cut energy waste, and go full-tilt for renewables
