He added the federal government could bring down beef prices by lowering tariffs to encourage more imports
Where’s the beef? The amount of cattle in the U.S. has declined by 6 million over the past five years, but demand hasn’t shrunk with supply.
Why is beef so expensive right now?
Drought and high grain prices forced ranchers to sell off their herds a few years ago.
