Totally valid.

It’s tough, I think a lot of us are feeling very powerless these days. I feel like people are feeling very directionless.

Helping people understand what’s going on is a very important first step!

I feel like people are spiraling, the answer is you have to do something. Anything.

Personally, when I feel we are fucked I do something like look up the state attorney generals email and send them a letter saying we should Secede.

So, what are you going to do?
(Actually tell me)

after a day or two of consideration i’ve concluded that No Country for Old Men is a book about how Violence became America’s God. Chigurh is a messenger angel, Bell a cowardly penitent, Moss a sinner unwilling to redeem himself via sufficient escalation.

When the Dakota people rebelled after treaty breaches and famine, Lincoln approved mass executions. Where’s the humanitarian image now?

Abraham Lincoln was also responsible for quote on quote more Manifest destiny/indigenous displacement than any other president. #abrahamlincolin #Civilwar

The Corwin Amendment (1861) would have locked slavery into the Constitution—and Lincoln was okay with it.

Native American policy under Lincoln? Large‐scale dispossession and a mass hanging in 1862.
Few discuss that—pinned post has more.

Lincoln championed union—but never wrote a full moral explanation for why forced unity outweighed local consent.
See pinned.
