Howard Webb claiming Robbo impacted the keeper's line of vision 🥲

Better balance, much improved physicality, much tougher in the tackle, moved the ball more quickly. Dom MOTM but MacAllister a close second

I genuinely don’t care what happens tonight as we win second balls. Fundamentally that’s been our biggest issue this season. Our lack of physicality and anticipation has let us down horribly.

Always great to get to Anfield whatever the Team or the competition

Calvin Ramsey was a highlight tonight though. With Frimpong out I would expect him to be on the bench now.

If Slot doesn’t turn this slump around he will be sacked. He made a comment about squad depth and he’s correct. In the summer we needed two centre backs, a right back, a DM, a box to box midfielder and a Diaz replacement. Whether that’s on Slot or Hughes is irrelevant, we still have these gaps

I would get us playing 451 for a couple of weeks just to stop us conceding. Off the ball we are dreadful
October 25, 2025 at 9:43 PM
Why do we persist in crossing and playing long balls towards enormous centre backs 🤷🏻‍♂️
October 25, 2025 at 9:21 PM
We’ve been bullied this evening. VVD aside we are weak across the side

I don’t care who plays on Saturday as long as the balance is right. Energy is everything and then let the quality show through. Far too laboured recently

I haven’t seen a Reds team so completely out of feel for each other.
The loss of Diogo has had an awful impact on everyone, imo.

So, we have 10 of 11 hopelessly out of form. We don’t win any second ball and look like we have forgotten how to defend. I cannot stand Arteta and everything he is (massive fraud) but if you stop conceding ie four centre backs football is so much easier. On Arteta, can you imagine him going 2125 🫣
October 19, 2025 at 6:20 PM
It must be incredibly hard to manage a Football team when 10 of your 11 are out of form… What do you do? Dom Szoboslai aside we are genuinely awful to a man. Losing Alisson too as he was the only other guy in form
October 19, 2025 at 5:43 PM
Equally Arteta would never do what Slot did and that’s why I love him. It didn’t work but at least he’s not negative
October 19, 2025 at 5:40 PM
Guaranteed loss at Brentford next Saturday evening. Not a Team currently, individuals only. Slot’s biggest challenge to date
October 19, 2025 at 5:39 PM
Losing is hard. Losing to United (at Home) and they are about the same level as Brentford hurts so much more. I cannot ever look at Arteta and think total fraud but we could definitely adopt his defence
October 19, 2025 at 5:34 PM
So, VVD held in the box, Amad handball, MacAllister foul with his back to play, not stopping for a header injury. Anything I’ve missed? Diabolical performance from Mr Oliver. PS: No yellow card for Diallo for time wasting or Mbuemo for the foul on Gakpo. PPS: Liverpool, second ball is not “optional”
October 19, 2025 at 4:32 PM
It’s hard work at present. MacAllister is miles and miles off it. Our shape is wrong, Salah is in the worst form he’s ever been in. We have not won anywhere enough second ball. These are gash too
October 19, 2025 at 4:21 PM
LFC - second balls, just once please 🙏
October 19, 2025 at 4:13 PM
When Arsenal’s set pieces dry up which they naturally will they will struggle offensively. Defensively however they are superb. I guess if you play four centre backs you will be tough to score against.

LFC in the 1st 7 games played 5 out of top 8 teams and others were Burnley away (who hadn't lost at home for over a year) and Newcastle away who were out for blood. Two games lost were only in injury time by 1 goal. LFC 2nd while not playing anywhere near their best.

Who actively chooses to support Chelsea?
October 4, 2025 at 9:46 PM
We have given away six points in the last two league games. Mentally we look like we are unclear of the intensity required. If you take a centre back off, put a centre back on against a top six side. Poor judgement from Slot lately especially with both Mo and Gakpo starting ahead of Chiesa. Annoying
