A tiny bit of noodle stubbornly clings to the corner of Jungkook's mouth, and it's pure instinct when Yoongi reaches out to wipe it off. A second later, warmth crawls up his neck, embarrassment settling in his body. It's not like he never takes care of Jungkook in front of his friends, but they love to tease him for it. Especially because the way he does it is always very nonchalant, like he’s pretending not to care when he actually does care very much. A lesson I've learned while the tannies are away: I can write and create without needing other people's validation at every step. SHE/HER/THEY/THEM FAV JK MOMENT :When he babied Bam on In the SOOp YOU CAN FIND ME ON: @tsingadark (Bluesky) @TsingaDark (Twitter and AO3) SKYE FIC WRITER He never spent much time thinking about crushes, but he had enough self-awareness to know what this ache inside his chest meant whenever he saw Yoongi smile, his gums visible and his eyes creasing. It started with him being excited whenever Yoongi came home from the studio, or sat down on the couch next to Jungkook, or praised him for his singing. Then Jungkook's heart started skipping a beat whenever Yoongi smiled at him. But what really sold the deal was when he and Yoongi simply existed in the same space and Jungkook's heart filled with warmth and pure elation.
