Fittingly, a new doco asks: Did Hitler have a micropenis?

True this.
And bet Trump has his aides ready with a fake ruler while he binges.

Australian conservatives look to the fu*king insanity of #Trump White House and say, yes, that’s what we want.

Sussan Ley has all the intelligence of a Labradingle.

What is the point of the Liberal Party of Australia?

Led by The Talking Tontine, fronting a reactionary cavalcade of c*ck polishers, booze hounds, grifters & bagmen.

City Boy on the Kenny Everett Video Show.

Remember running from school to the local record shop to buy the single.

Is this how magnets work - one attracts while the other is repelled?

"Mr President, in Hungary your pee-pee is celebrated as the biggest of any president. Hungarians say to me, Viktor, Mr Trump has a Hungarian salami. There is no bigger man than you, Mr President...

'Mr President, your nappy smells like eau de cologne; your aged c*nt face is an inspiration to us all, we love your dementia, your intellectual dwarfism; the Oval Office is a playground of rim jobs and knee pads. You have changed America - into 1930s Germany. We love you and your hush money."
Pirro: "Mr President, there is in this room a group of people who love you, who believe in you, and who are so proud to be in this Oval Office and to be part of this amazing day because you have changed the course of America."

Trying to image the reaction in 1935 if the #BBC spliced together words by National Socialist leader Adolph Hitler & the Führer threatened to sue for defamation.

I'm sure the families of the dead merchant sailors would have preferred a Disco Duck tribute. Maybe something with a dance beat as they drowned ...

It's not 'old timey' you immature thing, it's a moving and fitting tribute to a tragedy.
the song sounds old it sounds like an old timey thing but it’s from 1975 it should have sounded like Disco Duck

One of the great albums from one of the great bands.

I've also ended up with a lot of Eddie & the Hotrods records, along with Dr Feelgood, Rockpile, Dave Edmunds, Nick Lowe ... and hidden from the family, my Hawkwind vinyl (they think I'm some old fart who relives their trippy youth ... )
Made me think...more extraordinary underappreciated UK acts:
Comus
999
The Peddlers
Sailor
Titus Groan
The Tremeloes
The Marmalade
Doll By Doll
Nazareth
The Love Affair
Leaf Hound
Steel Pulse
The Montanas
Steel Pulse

Once dated a huge Magazine fan, turned me onto their records. Soft Boys, Only Ones and Teardrop definitely in my top keepers.

And some to look up now too, thanks.
Dusted off my fave 999 record just yesterday…
I reckon these UK acts are also criminally overlooked…
Soft Boys
The Flys
Magazine
The Only Ones
Teardrop Explodes
Art Brut
soooo many

Wow, now I'm going to start digging as there's bands I haven't played in years, like Marmalade and Doll By Doll. Sailor "Girls Girls Girls", got the single somewhere.

And some music I don't known, like Titus Groan and The Love Affair.

Thanks Glenn

I play their records and can't understand why they weren't sensational.
SAHB were a brilliant live act.
November 10, 2025 at 8:07 AM
Well, yes, now I totally f-ed that up and filed them in the wrong genre. D'oh.
Great list but.... weren't Frijid Pink American?
November 10, 2025 at 8:06 AM

Made compilation of Black Sabbath instrumentals & instrumental passages.

Bill Ward really is of the greatest of drummers.

And Sabbath make a fine folk band too.

@crikey.com.au ignored John Laws’ homophobia, ridiculing victim of child s*x abuse & saying a woman s*xully assaulted was at fault.

No wonder their subscriptions are plummeting.
Opinion | "John Laws was one of the great radio showmen. His whole schtick was to create controversy and to bring his audience into the fold so they could enjoy his power vicariously."
John Laws was king of the airways — and he hooked me, line and sinker

White Fucking Stripes. How in the hell does 1 drum & 1 guitar produce the fiercest sound in rock? Meg & Jack White absolutely brought rock & roll back to the forefront after music’s late 90s wash out. Their music blew the doors off, rooted in music’s great traditions. Jack honored them last night 👇
