I’m a pastor and I DON’T think “household voting” is the way to go. God gave women brains to use to discern who the best candidate is. Patriarchal baloney is trying to steamroll over the gifts God gives women.

In the past few weeks, the dishwasher took a complete crap and rained into the basement…our chest freezer stopped freezing and lost us maybe a couple hundred pounds of beef…and TONIGHT, the carbon monoxide detectors were alarming and the mdu guy came over to help. The boiler is the trouble. Yikes.

Baptism is not a new way of stratification. Jesus came to upend the ways we say who is in and out. Therefore, the Spirit can call into ministry whomever the Spirit chooses. “There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave or free, male or female. All are one in Christ Jesus.

Politicians don’t get to tell me how to preach. The Holy Spirit does.
