Quick thought for writers out there:

“To achieve great things, two things are needed; a plan, and not quite enough time.”

From the famous conductor Leonard Bernstein

My take: short time-line plans trump "master plans," "annual plans," and worst: no plan at all

Heading into another Saturday morning #writing sprint.

I use the same format every session:

5 min: Welcome and intention settting
25 min: 1st #pomodoro
5 min: bio break, refocus
25 min: 2nd pomodoro

Short bursts of focused effort almost always get me rolling.

- How many in your target audience download your book?
- How many finish the book?
- How many people issue a review?
- How positive are the reviews?
- Does the book generate the intended outcomes for readers?

Worried about sounding smart when you write?

Don't!

Worry about being clear.

The world is complex enough already.

Readers need you to simplify the complex and explain things is easy-to-understand terms.

Write to be understood, and readers will be impressed.

Everyone wants to *finish strong* at this point in the year.

But here's the rub:

You have *way* less time this month than you think you do

You're going to wind up frustrated/burnt out if you try to get too much done the next 4 weeks

Here's a better idea: Finish Sane
