I've gotten more updates about the LA wildfires here on BlueSky than literally anywhere else(which is a low benchmark, because I've seen zero posts about it on FB). I'm immediately grateful for the updates, and because I heard about them here early, I was able to know my family in Pasadena is safe.

These days this phrase seems to have the same function as "Spare change?"

I'm not against making money from my creative efforts, but the phrase really does feel like begging.
