Just checked the label on this oat milk I grabbed…and wow. It’s not as clean as I thought. Ingredients like sunflower oil, palm oil, gums, and added sugar sneak in even when it looks healthy.

Hauled some things to the donation center. When I have things I need to get rid of I first see if I can sell it. If it is something I sell, I take a portion of the proceeds and put it in an eco fund that goes to tree planning or other eco friendly organizations. #transformeco #green #ecofirnedly

Good tips
Need some raised beds? Why not make some? Scaffold boards must be replaced after 15 years. Your local builder might give some to you. We made 3 this afternoon: cost about €2 for the screws.

There is a lot of noise about all kinds of things going on in the world right now, but we cannot lose site of things like this. We need to build a new economy that is eco-conscious and promotes compassionate capitalism.

Pollution, climate change, unsustainable resource use, and land conversion are driving the biodiversity crisis—even in areas with little human impact. Remote ecosystems have just 33% of viable plant species, showing how far-reaching our effects on the biosphere are, says @julianschrader.bsky.social

Sometimes the most eco-friendly thing to do is maintaining your home, car, etc. Keeping things working a little bit longer is sometimes better for the environment than buying the brand new items if they are more eco-friendly.
