I have compared the parts of 23/24 and 24/25 that happened in 2024. Only 5 teams averaging more points per games this season, compared to the end of last season. The 3 largest increases were the teams with the lowest PPG at the back end of last season.

Wednesday also finish the calendar year with 10 away losses. The joint 6th worst.
Wednesday conceded 39 away goals this calendar year. Only Watford (41), Cardiff (43), Plymouth (47) worse.

Since the start of December 2023, and of the 18 teams that were in the Championship last season, only Middlesbrough (11) have won more away games than Wednesday’s (10).
Only Boro (37) and Leeds (36) have won more away points than Wednesday’s (31).

Sheffield Wednesday have used 22 players in the league this season. Only Swansea and Preston (21) have used less.
However Wednesday have made the most subs in the league (74).
Keeping players fresh could be imperative, especially in the second half of the season.

Greece have only lost 2 games at home since the start of 2020. And both those games finished 1-0. This is a very good result.
