today myself and a delightful elderly precinct judge helped make this happen because they messed up my registration and he made sure i could vote in the right place (aka where i ACTUALLY FUCKING LIVE) and thank god for that man and all people like him.

I remembered a hyperfixation I had ages ago, before I knew what hyperfixations were (or that I'm ADHD). I can't for the LIFE of me remember WHY I was so fixated on this. It's neat, sure, but there is nothing about it that sets my brain on fire.

I saw this about LOTR's narrative construction, and it made me think about worldbuilding as a GM. I run homebrew, and while I put a lot of work into detailing the world and making it interesting, I haven't focused on making the players CARE about the world they're in. #ttrpg #gm #gming #dnd
