Amelie was one of my comfort movies as a teenager so I gave it a rewatch last night. I forgot how much I loved it. It’s such a beautiful film. One of the reasons I love it so much is that Amelie is very neurodivergent coded, right from the opening credits.

I visited my old elementary school yesterday, (which as a military brat, isn’t really a common thing) and said hello to my old teachers. They were so excited to hear about my life, one even mentioning how proud she was that I have two degrees and that I’ve published stories. It made me happy.

My cat has taken to hitting a painting my partner has of the houses from Game of Thrones when he wants attention. I mean I get it. I too beef with the ending of the tv show but the painting is innocent in this matter!

I was told in grade 5 that I have "vampire eyes" and have never forgotten that. Weirdest and most on brand compliment I could've received.
