there’s currently no coordinated regional effort to monitor #microplastics across the #GreatLakes. That would change if microplastics are added to a binational list of contaminants.
Scientists want microplastics monitored in the Great Lakes. Now, it's up to the U.S. and Canada
There's currently no tracking program for microplastics in the Great Lakes.
