If you are in one of the drought areas, maybe put out a water bowl or two for some of the wild creatures who are struggling. I saw five dead voles at the side of the road today in different places. Apparently they have been driven from underground because of the dry conditions, searching for water.

We should have started trying to mitigate these circumstances almost 40 years ago
