Louisiana got 65% with notice full benefits for November will arrive before Thanksgiving and some unclear mention of an extra 25% because of the shutdown. I thought Mississippi paid out too.

Among the many worst things that this represents, the "worst of the worst" is that these are being run as for profit businesses.
Even Germany didn't go this far in dehumanizing profits.
It is obscene, and we, our country is engaging in this immoral behavior.

We started Indivisible in 2016 because a future Trump appointee was talking about the WWII Japanese internment camps as a model for immigrants at the same time that Schumer was talking about finding common ground with Trump.
This concentration camp was opened at Fort Bliss, the site of a former Japanese internment camp.
It also cost over $1B in private contracts to build in a place meant to hold 1000 people. So, basically it’s a fascist grift.

Yesterday, when Bovino announced ICE would be returning to Little Village today, some of us donated and fundraised to buy out street vendors in the neighborhood. This morning, volunteers hit the streets at 6:30 am, looking for vendors to buy out. Tamales make an excellent breakfast.

Chuck Schumer and ANYONE who supports him need to be ousted from the party. The same way they wrongly treated David Hogg should be the way that Schumer is treated now.
What was the damn point of the shutdown? People missed paychecks, families went without SNAP, and Democrats walked away with nothing.
This isn’t about moderates versus the far left. It’s about who’s actually fighting for people who are struggling.
She nails where so many of us are right now.

In my experience:
The only time that Trump advocates for anything that sounds half way decent, it will turn out that it was just a convenient loophole for him, a left-ish program to outflank & confuse critics & low info voters. He has never actually done anything useful or progressive IN HIS LIFE!

In my experience:

This seems so obvious to me....It will be a good means of separating the right-center dems from the true coalition: of ALL democrats who actually want to make government responsive for ALL of the people.
Word on the Hill: Gary Peters, Jeanne Shaheen, and other centrist Democrats want to end the shutdown. Every poll shows Republicans are losing this fight. Secure the ACA subsidies. We do not capitulate to a fascist tyrant and especially not when we’re winning you morons. Blow up their fucking phones.
