My parents are coming to visit this week for my wife’s birthday. So we get to clean and tidy the house as much as is feasible in the middle of renaissance faire season. When I asked my wife what she wanted for her birthday, she said “to not have your parents visit.” 😬

I hate the feeling getting dressed up for Renfaire and not running into any photographers all day. It’s like… did it even happen?

I’ve never used my stocks app on my phone before but I now use it exclusively to see how much Tesla stock has dropped.

The excitement of Renfaire (Sherwood Forest Faire) coming back vs the disappointment of 80° temps opening weekend and it being too hot to wear most of your layered garb.

My water heater just started leaking, but I wasn’t worried because we pay for homeowners insurance, in case, you know, the water heater starts leaking.

The insurance co is paying for the new water heater, but also charging $1,700 for not-covered additions. So is homeowners insurance just a scam?
