I reject the notion that Isak scored the winning goal in the League Cup final. An important goal? Yes. But if he doesn't score there's nothing to say another player wouldn't have, or that Liverpool even score (butterfly effect). It wasn't like it was 1-1 and he scored in the final few minutes. #NUFC

My opinion on Isak has changed almost daily throughout this saga. I still think taking £125m/£130m is for the best. Yes, “player power” won.
However, If we’re selling him at this price then we should have just done weeks ago. Leeds match showed we desperately need to bring in another CF.

If this is true, then it's time to get rid. Take £130m and be done with him. I don't think I care if we get a replacement in or not. Keeping Isak against his will for another 4-8 months will be more damaging to our season than relying on Osula and Gordon. #NUFC

I felt like signing Jackson was an open goal - if all other efforts of signing a striker failed then he’d be nailed on. Now it looks as though he’s off to Bayern.
Seems like now anyone we sign will be for an overinflated fee, or we won’t sign anyone. #NUFC

Despite a recent trophy and CL football twice in three seasons, it’s clear there’s still some way to go before we can compete with the big boys in the transfer market. Having ambition is great, but it’s been taken advantage of by players/agents who have strung us along to get better deals #NUFC

I don't know why there's this assumption that signing Sesko automatically means Isak will definitely leave (although likely, admitedly). We need another striker anyway after letting Wilson go - why not have both? #NUFC

Only reason I could see us having to ground share with another club is if there’s some kind of Spurs style development of SJP, but the options touted are either expansion of the Gallowgate or a completely new stadium on a different site #NUFC
