Remind them the phrase has always been a joke, because you literally can’t do it.
It started as a way to mock rich people who have no idea what it’s like to struggle.

In 2017, I left San Diego broke, heartbroken, and lost. I drove out in an old VW—the same car I used for Uber to pay bills. The relationship I moved across the country for had fallen apart after my girlfriend cheated on me. Life was hard.
