The family cat, Nick, died yesterday. It's not clear how - we just found him dead in the back garden, not a mark on him. He was a wonderful beast. Born in a hedge, we never expected to domesticate him, but he grew into the most sociable, human centred cat I've ever known. We're all very sad.

In the UK, there is still no law that stops trans people from using the toilets that match their gender. That includes after the UK Supreme Court ruling on 16 April 2025, which the usual suspects are already trying to twist into a bathroom ban.

I've seen many people suggest that tabletop games firms can "just make games in America". Well, here's an interview with someone who's doing /just that/ - who put years and over a million dollars into building just the minimum viable version of a factory. This is what it really takes.
