As someone who messes up - because I am human - I cannot stress enough how much saying, “You’re right and I’m sorry about that,” or “Oh, I hadn’t thought of that,” or even - even - “Thanks for that input” immediately defangs most crazy online critique. Doubling down is a sign of stupidity imo.

Only 1 person in the whole study went from identifying as trans to not identifying as trans. The 1/5 number came from youth going between the binary and non-binary spectrum.

Reading another book that claims, as if it's obviously true, the Soviet space program was ahead of the US. I spent a lot of time reading in this, and I just see it as zombie propaganda. The only reason the USSR even had an *apparent* edge is because it became fashionable to strap humans to rockets.
