@edjenx.bsky.social evening Edward, I'm making my way around part of Europe. Heading over to Italy next after Annecy. But then making my way back along south French coast. Any recommendations for a motorhome .. don't like cities btw.

Spin around Lake Annecy on the gravel bike.. its been a while since a decent ride and I felt it. But good to get back out and didn't feel as bad as I thought it would.

Throwback to Ironman Swansea and one of the banners we had made to 'encourage' one of the local clubs.

So in 6 weeks time I tackle The Robin Hood 100 miler ( ultramarathon ). Training has been sporadic. Oh, I'm on hols for the next 4.5 weeks. I'm sure it's going to be a lovely day out.

The new bike was needed because roadie was being repaired ( any excuse I know ). Managed to get an bike for the boss as well. Checked out current price of roadie, £5.5k, and that's without the upgrades I've done myself.

First ride on the new bike today ( Topstone 3 gravel bike ). Been a while and the 1st 4 miles with 900ft of climbing reminded me how long it had been.
