"Today I became a Canadian citizen" is not a sentence I'd ever have imagined a past-self utter, but here we are anyway.
It certainly has been interesting being an immigrant in a land where that word is not a pejorative (most of the time).
But mark my words: I will never say "surry" or "pro-cess'.
