Ok - read a lot of timbers news today, and here's my read:
* Timbers are switching to the 2DP/4U22 model. Good. We are a smol market, with a bad academy.
* Like it or not, we're building around Velde. Meh.
* We're trying to do right by the old guys, but also get rid of bad contracts. Good. #RCTID

BREAKING: MLS owners officially voted to flip to a "summer-spring" format beginning in mid-July and running through the end of May. Will start in 2027.
Also voted on the regular season format.

I don't know much about the Greek League and I know less about the Polish one, but this guy looks like he can dribble in tight spaces, weight his passes appropriately, and isn't afraid to rip shots - (at least based on his highlight reel)

In a historic first, USL owners have voted to adopt promotion and relegation, sources tell @theathleticfc.bsky.social.
The vote will bring pro-rel to American soccer for the first time. Expected to start in 2028 with the launch of new USL D1 league.
