Remember the ban on trans women playing in women's chess? Turns out there's only one trans woman playing chess at a competitive level internationally. Yosha Iglesias of France is feeling singled out as an intentional ban turns out to impact literally just her.

lol, I love how paying for meals on dates is “traditionally masculine” despite this practice being incredibly recent. Most of civilized human history involved men and women just both desperately working subsistence farms for their food. Taking dates to a restaurant at all is “modernist degeneracy”.

Sad part about stuff like this is that the initial idea of hyperloop was about the next step in high speed train tech (I.e. using vacuum sealed tubing to reduce air resistance). Definitely far off, but important stuff to try and work out and create an optimistic vision of the future…
