I would love to be part of the Spurs fans who believe the Europa win was some great turning point for Ange but 78 points from 66 games says it all, i don’t see why anything would change significantly next season

We aren’t even hitting 40 fair enough
Not to be negative after Thursday but it’s insane to me people are still defending the league position in any way. We’re gonna finish with just over 40 points and results have not improved since we got our players back. Have some standards please

By saying that we should be allowed the “injuries and small squad” explanation for being 16th, you are excusing it. It’s one of the biggest underperformances in the PL in recent years so the criticism is justified

It’s not an incorrect explanation though. Injuries and a smaller squad don’t explain why we’re 16th and on course for 41 points

Difference is they’re still 2nd and we’re… 16th. Almost like one is a somewhat acceptable dropoff given the injuries and the other one isn’t

I can’t believe how much of a disaster this season has been 😭😭 i remember 4/5 months ago thinking things were bad and we were probs gonna finish 7th or something. 16th in April is a new low and doesn’t even feel real

i don’t think he changes much but i am excited to see Odobert back. Very direct and positive with everything he does and combines well with others, basically what we’ve been starved of with our wingers for a while

this might be copium but the thing that makes me believe we’re still heading in a positive trajectory under Ange is that our best 4/5 performances this season absolutely blow anything we produced last year out of the water. The ceiling level has been a lot higher

after Conte/Mourinho it’s just really refreshing to have someone who is actually TRYING to build something long term. We have an injury depleted squad not prepared for 2 games a week, and the high points this season have been really high. Can we please just give him the season at least
