I can't believe we get Buck with a clipboard, stopwatch, and whistle. They can't possibly have Eddie in these scenes because they'd never be able to hide impending Buddie with how Eddie would look at Buck for that.

i got a recognition at work and it came with where i can pick something out from a catalog. the catalog includes giftcards for, you know, useful places, and i know i need to do that, but i really want to get myself something dumb. hmph @ being an adult.

i so hope i get to come back and eat my words about expecting that the eddie story not getting any more attention. i would have enjoyed last night's episode so much more if i could trust that it was going somewhere. i unfortunately do not have that trust.

Thinking about how I think they did a lot better job showing the buck story coming around. Buck's story went from hum believing in Bobby's ghost to Buck realizing it doesn't need to be a ghost for Bobby's memory to guide and help him.

I think it's hilarious my crashout about this episode is not about buddie or even the episode, I'm just mad they did this and probably won't followup and make it meaningful so it will feel hollow in the future

I'm so mad also that is probably going to be it for this story. They killed off Abuela for the Dia de los Muertos vibes when they already had characters to display that grief with, and we're not even going to get to see it. We didn't get to see Eddie tell Chris, call Buck, or help Pepa call family.

disappointed they didn't really take eddie's story anywhere. i guess he's...pretending to be catholic for dead people? but doesn't actually believe in it. he's probably headed right back to doing so bc of abuela?? the episode was really well done but i don't really know where it fits in. anything.

unpopular opinion but i don't think athena was suicidal. its a thin line, but athena was doing things SOMEONE had to or they'd die. she didn't want to die. i don't even think she was passively suicidal. grief just made her protective instincts stronger than her self preservation.
