So excited. On February 23, we are putting up a new play from categories randomly selected. Eight women will write this play the day before in eight hours or less. Auditions, rehearsal and show on the 23rd. ThinkFast Experiment. Collaboration, not competition.

Just finished the last performance of a scifi staged reading by a former student of mine. It was my first time on stage as an actor since 2018. It was fun and yet so weird to see "my kids" as adults 12 years later. When I left they were 12 and 13. #dontblink

I saw the powerful performance then met the playwright Paula Kamen of Jane- Abortion and the Underground and met the Jane Collective founder Heather Booth and abortion rights activists on Zoom - Eileen Smith, and Diane Stevens. That was an amazing experience for Powerstories Theatre and me.

The tee-shirt my parents got me for my birthday is the best summary of me ever. I'm not sure why I fell in love with gnomes during the pandemic, but my new home has an adorable collection.

The best birthday wake-up came early this morning from Molly, my flamepoint Siamese. She crawled on my chest, pushed her face into my chin, stretched her paws around my neck, and purred so loudly I thought she'd wake my sleeping husband. #catladyforlife

Apparently 3am is the new brain gotta wakeup time. Sigh.

Today the movers come. And God(dess) willing, we'll be ready to setup and can bring the kitties to explore their first two-story home. Ready to sage the house. We've named our new home Kintsugi which teaches us that we can turn adversity into something that is beautiful and resilient. So ready.

Today's the final walk through. I can't believe I went from losing my starter home of 32 years in Helene's storm surge to closing on a dream home in 8 weeks time. I never ever thought we could leave our old house. Helene was a blessing wrapped in total devastating loss. Time for the next chapter.

I am mere hours away from selling my home of 32 years after Helene's angry storm surge changed our life. Weird thought. Though I'm in an airbnb, simply waiting for the latest final step to close on new home next week, technically after today, I will be homeless. The old house is no longer my home.

I just discovered my last short play UNDER CONSTRUCTION, which was dramatic play first runner-up at Tampa Bay Theatre Festival - a play about dementia- was nominated for Best Ensemble for Broadway World Tampa awards.
