With Yotei finished, I'm taking a couple of days off from gaming to focus on my interview. Also taking time off from here but I'll be back on Thursday to resume normal service.....or not-so-normal, depending on how things go. Hoping it's the latter. 🤞

Amazon has seemingly removed the Banana Fish AI dub, likely in response to the vocal outcry
It should be noted that they can remove this AI dub, or all of their AI dubs
But they can’t remove the fact that they chose to try to do it in the first place.

A company this big can pay human actors a decent wage, not produce slop that intentionally removes the human element.

SO... I'm pretty much done with Fortnite. There were statements made by Tim Sweeney saying that AI usage doesn't need to be disclosed, and then AI usage was found all over this current season- from art to sprays to in-game songs. Between that, and the upcoming shitty wizard collab... Yeah, I'm done.

Watched some documentaries earlier for a change from endless crime dramas. One was about the Beast from the East from early 2018.

tl;dr: Only CEOs want this. Tell them how much you hate it. Be loud, email, call, @, post. You will kill this.

I agree, but some grown-ups *do* need to check themselves online when shouting angry shit about a show that’s *specifically made for children*, like Doctor Who.
Those kids don’t need rants about how what they love doesn’t meet your standards.
