FSF hired Rob Savoye to lead LibrePhone. They’re reverse-engineering the blobs Qualcomm & others refuse to document. This will take YEARS and serious funding. Chip makers are counting on you doing nothing. Donate at fsf.org or contribute code. Prove them wrong.

Let’s be clear about what’s happening. AI costs hundreds of billions to build. Only a handful of companies can afford it. Once you’re locked in, they WILL recoup costs by degrading service. This isn’t accident (it’s monopoly economics). These pressures are designed to extract value from YOU.

Remember when they said collecting social media handles was just for “vetting”? Now they’re using AI to monitor millions of lawful residents, threatening deportation for speech. State Dept bragged on X about revoking visas. They’re not hiding it.
