Think you know who Daphne du Maurier really was? Remember her book REBECCA, published in 1938, that became an international bestseller? She based the character on a REAL woman, who ended up taking her own life in 1944. Jan Ricardo's life mattered!
Who was the Anti-heroine in Daphne Du Maurier's famous novel REBECCA Actually Based on?
What history reveals is that she was a tragic woman named Jeannette Louisa Ricardo and her story has never been adequately told.
