Honestly, how many times do Republican politicians have to fuck over their constituents before they stop getting votes?
It’s clear that these voters don’t even look at what these people do once they’re elected, they just see an (R) next to the name and that’s that.

Honestly curious: if ICE is now a group of thugs terrorizing innocent people and ignoring due process, when are leaders going to grow some spine and start calling for people to fight back? War has been declared, but it seems like one side doesn’t realize it yet.

I hope by now two things are becoming apparent to Americans: 1) by the midterm elections, your votes may not mean anything, 2) spicy memes and name calling aren’t going to be enough to prevent this. You need to get out and ACT. NOW.

Above all, markets need stability. Having tariff policy that looks to be determined by a schizophrenic toddler is not how to achieve that goal.

On some level, men on the far right are probably so anti-abortion because they know they’re deeply unfuckable. When your chances are few and far between you want every shot to count I suppose, but alternatively, try working out, grooming well and not being assholes.

If the new pope wants to make a moral statement, he should threaten to excommunicate anyone in the US taking part in stripping people of their rights and due process. The church tainted itself by dealing with Nazis, and so this is the only path to redemption.

So apparently orange Hitler says Canada is “nasty to deal with” (a lie) and that we are still a problematic fentanyl exporter (a lie). So we’re all clear, he (or rather, his handlers in Russia) are trying to justify attacking Canada, your closest ally. That’s where we are now.

It’s clear that the president is a moron, but he knows what he’s doing with the fake “trade war”: he’s creating a crisis that he can either “save” everyone from, or he will use it to justify attacking Canadian sovereignty.

By now, it should be abundantly clear that the president is either a Russian asset, or so grossly incompetent that it becomes a distinction without a difference. In either case, he is actively working against American interests.

I’m not one to advocate violence, but if a group of people are destroying your country, economy, way of life, attacking your neighbours, inciting hatred, and stealing everything they can while others starve…maybe violence would be a justifiable reaction.
