The situation in social care is far less visible but arguably even bigger issue.
Shortage of formal and informal care means we can’t discharge people quickly and safely from hospital. And people are not supported to live well in the community either, putting them at risk of hospital admission.

One of the things I really hope comes out of the increased interest around #AssistedDying is better conversation around end-of-life planning and support in all its forms. All adults should think about what they'd want - and crucially share it with loved ones

Overnight tonight we will mobilise the single biggest change to buses in the UK for decades as the remaining half of services in GM come back under public control.

I was diagnosed with HIV in 1998, when I was 30.
Many of my friends had died but I was told, with the new drugs available, I could expect to live another 20 years.
That was 27 years ago.
Honour those we lost.
Celebrate that we can now treat and prevent HIV.
Make HIV stigma history.

If anything, I think it probably added to my contention that the pavement needs looking at. Never let it be said my residents don't get my full-bodied efforts... #WarWound
