Given Wilson's frailties and Isak needing support, Matheus Cunha is a player #NUFC should definitely have in their sights heading into the January transfer window.

Here's a short thread on why I feel he'd be the perfect addition to our squad:
@editkev.football Kev, height aside, what do we think of Buendia as a possible low cost Almiron replacement?

Ag-ba-dou-dou-dou, you've scored none and we've scored two!

Thinking out loud here but if we could get Walker-Peter's in this month and send Targett back the other way, that would be a big positive in my book.

I am absolutely sold on El Khannouss. Should be very high on our shortlist for the summer, especially if Leicester go down. Such a talent.

If January is a suitable time for Man City and Guardiola to strengthen, then it should damn well be suitable for us as well.

Harvey Elliott could be a good shout for NUFC. Replace both Longstaff and Miggy.
January 10, 2025 at 8:59 AM
Sell Longstaff. Sign Ederson.
January 10, 2025 at 8:04 AM
I know some will disagree given his form but we need to sell Dubravka. Sell in the high, buy in the dip. We've missed the right moment to sell with numerous other players. Can't be doing that again.

The midfield trio that has the lot.

Wondering if PSG signing Kvara would have any impact on Lee Kang-in's availability. Play on opposite flanks but it's an additional winger all the same. #NUFC

Dias, Akanji, Ake, Stones, Khusanov, Reis. Surely that's too many CBs for City? Five of those are right footed as well.

If I'm NUFC, I'm very interested in a cut price deal for Stones at this point. Injuries a concern, but that's a signing that elevates us.

Something like this vs Bromley please:

Vlach; Trippier, Schar, Kelly, Targett; Miley; Longstaff, Willock; Almiron, Osula, Barnes.
January 8, 2025 at 4:08 PM
Araujo now linked with Juventus. Sigh.
Noticed Araujo hasn't been playing recently either. Cubarsi's emergence this season definitely means Barca can afford to let a RCB go, and either would be fantastic for us.
January 8, 2025 at 4:02 PM
Correct decision to extend Schar's deal, but it should only be for an additional year. Lascelles is the CB to shift.
January 7, 2025 at 1:30 PM
Mad to think that had we held on vs Palace, we'd now be sitting in third.

We should've beaten both Brighton and West Ham at home, too.

Such fine margins. #NUFC

Waaaaay worse than the foul Botman received a yellow card for.
Kulusevski on Gordan
The referees have looked at this as a "coming together" but you can see Kulusevski brace and leave his shoulder in, not just very naughty, an absolute mugging.

Like the look of Acheampong in that RCB spot for Chelsea. Very tidy on the ball.

Get in. Knew it wouldn't be easy, but the boys dug deep. That's such a massive win, man. Over the moon.
January 4, 2025 at 2:36 PM
That is a blatant penalty. Unbelievable.
January 4, 2025 at 1:51 PM
Tino is so good defensively but needs to release the ball waaaay earlier when in possession. A brilliant ball carrier, but he quite often only sees 5 yards in front of himself and ends up running into dead ends, which was a big factor in us struggling to control the game in those early stages.
January 4, 2025 at 1:34 PM
People need to stop underestimating Spurs. That's a good XI and they will cause us a lot of problems. Any result would be a good one today.
January 4, 2025 at 11:27 AM
If there's even the slightest chance.
January 3, 2025 at 1:16 AM
Have we signed anyone yet?
January 1, 2025 at 2:26 AM
No Cunha for Wolves vs Forest. That's a real blow. Had hoped Forest might drop points there but cant see it now.

Unreal analyses from Carragher, this. He's picked Amorim's system to pieces, and I'd imagine Eddie and co did exactly the same.
